How to Play Fantasy Cricket on GoPlay11
General fantasy cricket basics, followed by the rules to confirm inside GoPlay11.
The Basic Idea
In a typical fantasy cricket contest, you select players from a real fixture and receive points for their match performance. GoPlay11's supplied screen shows Cricket and Football tabs and upcoming match cards; it does not show the full team-building or scoring rules. Read the rules for the specific contest before entering.
Team Rules to Check in GoPlay11
- 11 players within a fixed credit budget (stronger players cost more credits)
- A limit on how many players you can take from one side
- A minimum and maximum number for each role: wicket-keeper, batter, all-rounder and bowler
- One captain and one vice-captain, whose points are multiplied
How Scoring Works (Example)
These are common scoring categories, not GoPlay11's verified point values. The current points table in the official app controls each contest.

|---|---|
| Run scored | Small positive |
| Boundary / six | Bonus on top of runs |
| Half-century / century | Milestone bonus |
| Wicket | Large positive |
| Catch / stumping / run-out | Positive |
| Economy & strike rate | Bonus or penalty |
| Duck (batter) | Penalty |
